M. Sc. Physiotherapy
B. Sc Exercise & Health | B. Sc Exercise Rehabilitation
I completed a Bachelor of Science (Exercise & Health) at the University of Western Australia in 2007. My passion for exercise led me to complete a fourth year in Exercise Rehabilitation. After having worked as an Exercise Physiologist for two years, I was accepted to complete a postgraduate Masters in Physiotherapy at Curtin University. Since graduating, I have worked in private practice as a physiotherapist. While studying Physiotherapy I worked as a Sports Trainer with the West Perth Football Club, The West Coast Falcons Netball club and at the State Basketball Center. Over the years I have gained experience working with a wide variety of health and fitness issues, sports and workplace injuries. I have developed a special interest in Women’s Health and am currently completing a masters at Curtin University.
I moved to Perth in 2004 where I met my husband and business partner. We are keen travelers, always planning our next adventure. I spend my free time enjoying the outdoors, soaking up the atmosphere down south and looking after my own health and wellbeing.
I am a very approachable and understanding person, who will go over and above to see to it that you reach your goals. I am always learning and participating in professional development to ensure I am up to date with all the latest that physiotherapy has to offer.

I was born and brought up in Mumbai, India and graduated with Bachelor of Physiotherapy. I have since concentrated on Manual therapy and Movement Analysis and therapy to treat the "root cause" of the patient's problem and help them move better and improve quality of life to the optimum functional level. I have worked in a Spine speciality Physiotherapy Clinic in Mumbai and conducted Intensive Training Program for Physiotherapists pan India. In Australia I worked in Aged care and loved the experience treating our elderly population in Tamworth NSW. My clinical interest is in the multidimentional Pain Mechanism and therapy which motivates me to further broaden my education and training in the field. Outside of Physical Therapy I enjoy being close to the ocean, enjoy running in spare time and have special interest in Dance, music and art.
JOSH PONTIFEX
Exercise Physiologist | Director of Evoque Rehabilitation
B.Sc. Exercise & Health | B.Sc. Exercise Rehabilitation
Having grown up in the country, I have always had a passion for exercise and sports. I moved to Perth in 2004 to complete my Bachelor of Science (Exercise & Health) at the University of Western Australia. In 2008 I completed a fourth year in Exercise Rehabilitation Science which enabled me to work as an Exercise Physiologist. I worked for several years across the Perth metropolitan area and remotely in the Pilbara and Northern Territory.
In 2013 I decided to start my own company, Evoque Rehabilitation, a specialized exercise physiology service dedicated to the rehabilitation of people injured at work and in motor vehicle accidents. Over the past two and a half years our service has continued to rehabilitate injured people throughout Perth. Evoque Rehabilitation also offer exercise services to people with complex and chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension as well as strength and conditioning consultations for people seeking to live a healthy, more active lifestyle.
Moving from the wheat belt to Bussellton at age 10, and to Perth at age 18, I have always been involved in sports and recreational activities. The outdoor, coastal lifestyle that my wife and business partner enjoy, promotes our message of healthy, active living. I enjoy playing a round of golf when ever possible and look at sneaking away for a quick snowboarding holiday when ever I can.
I look forward to working with my clients everyday, and allowing them to live a better quality of life and enjoy the things that matter most to them. Whether your recovering from an accidental injury or just wanting to improve your physical health, I will ensure our collaborative service meets your needs.
